THE FIRST ISSUE

Our very first issue revolves around the most special time for Muslims all around the world, the month of Ramadan.From making the most of the blessed month and filling our days with good deeds to getting creative with Eid preparations, there’s plenty to explore. Children will dive into the story of Prophet Yunus, discover fascinating facts about the natural world, and explore the wonders of winter through hands-on activities.Every page is an invitation to wonder, ask questions, make connections with the world around us and learn through play.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I’ve spent the past decade understanding how children learn and discovered that the best learning experiences are built on curiosity, creativity, and a sense of play.I grew up learning about my faith in ways that didn’t always feel exciting or engaging. When I moved to Canada, I began thinking more deeply about what it means for Muslim children to grow up surrounded by so many different cultures, ideas, and distractions. I realized how easily children can connect with practices from other religions that feel fun and exciting, and I want them to feel that same sense of excitement when exploring their own faith, Islam, through wonder, curiosity, and play.
